This is Gaurav Dhiman, the maintainer of LKG_INDIA Group. LKG_INDIA stands for Linux Kernel Group India.

This mail is to invite you to join Linux Kernel Group, Its a group of people who wants to learn, discuss and contribute to Linux Kernel.

This groups was initially started by us (group of 7 guys from same company and having same interest) from all around India on 20th Oct, 2004. It's growing very fast.

This Group is specially for people who are interested in discussing and contributing to Linux Kernel (Core of Operating System). Please join this group only if you are interested in Linux Kernel discussion and contribution.

This group is not only for Indian (as it's name says), anybody from any country can subscribe it. As we could not find any Linux Kernel specific group on net for India, we started this group in a hope that it will be the first formal Linux Kernel Group for India. The purpose of this is to formalize the Linux Kernel efforts in India, so that we can have regular meetings and disscussions.

Before posting any query to this group, we expect you to have introductory knowledge of C Language and Operating System Basics. It would be great if you have elementary knowledge of Linux Kernel.

NOTE: This is not an entertainment group, so subscribe only if you are serious about Linux Kernel.
