Saludos, group Mr. Norell

Attached you will find side-by-side pictures of Bourgageana and Champneiana Maya
Gold and Splash. The pictures were taken last week at my farm, average
temperature 60 F to 70 F, approximately 1,200 feet above sea level.

It is interesting that they bloom at the same time April and May. Both thrive
under indirect sunlight. Their foliage looks similar and they all have freckled
stems. The Bourgeana tends to be a smaller plant with thinner clumps. As
mentioned before, their origin is believed to be from the Mayan region.

Hi Gary-- The difference is that red-yellow gyro is really quite red on most of the bract and it has a yellow-green rachis and strong, bright yellow cheek...
