This is the answer from Emagic support reg. the HESB issue:

-thank you for your E-Mail.

-Sorry, but I don't know exactly the meaning of the error message, but the
-things, you do when the error message appears forces your system to crash:

-When you use Logic with DAE, you have to work with a deactivated
-Universal-Track-Mode because the DAE is not able to handle interleaved
-stereo files.

-After changing the disc buffer (when using DAE) logic is not able to
-re-launch the DTDM-Driver. You have to restart logic. After this, the driver
-is correct relaunched.

-So everything seems to be OK with your system.

-Best regards

Now, correct me if I'm wrong here, but DTDM works on the native side
so universal trackmode should not be a problem, right? Any of you
had any experiences on this? Do I have to read the manual.....?
If I'm right, what kind of support people do they have that can't tell
the difference between DAE and native?
I sent them an answer, will be interesting to get their response...
Cheers
Alar

Again, the advantage in turning Universal Mode off when using DTDM and DAE is that you can interchange audio between both kinds of tracks. Just keep in mind...

You will always be able to play interleaved files on DTDM tracks regardless of the Universal mode. But it becomes a mess when the DAE is running since you...
