Well, here's the obvious: Now that you have the multichannel instrument
setup and all the appropriate auxes, did you actually assign specific
zones/groups to those discreet outputs? If not, everything will default
to the main outputs. This is what is needed for what you want to
do.......But this is with the EXS 24.

With the EXSP24, multichannel object means something different. It
means that it can be used multitimbrally. You can load and trigger up
to 16 different sounds on 16 different midi channels, all from the same
instrument (something the EXS24 can't do). But AFAIK, there is no way
to access or assign discreet outputs in the EXSP24.
