I've been running some tests with FreeRTOS + uIP + enc28j60 (1Mhz SPI bus
<limited because of my board configuration>),

I know that TCP upload is limited because uIP can only have one packet
"travelling"
per connection, that's ok.

But, for download I only get ~12KB/s max for sites downloading >2MB/s on my
DSL.

Is there any know limitation on uIP stack related to downloads?

Any experiences on this? :)
