We have obtained an old Hydra 96 dispenser which has an XY table attached to
aspirate form one plate and dispense into another.
Obviously this instrument does not have its full documentation or life would be
easy.

I can control the hydra itself via computer, but cannot get the table to work
correctly. At best I can get it to move at various speeds until
it crashes into the stops. I think I can get it to home.

The table itself has two cables, one obviously connects to the port on the side
of the hydra. The other cable would fit the 'pump' socket on
the hydra, but this seems wrong! Any idea what the 'other' cable is for?

Does anyone have documentation relating to controlling the XY table?
The newer hydra 2 has this documented, but it doesn't seem to work.
