Description

This group was created as a forum for users of LTools, an unofficial add-on to Millennia's Legacy Family Tree genealogy program.

General discussion of the LTools program, as well as tips, suggestions, and problem reports are welcome. In addition, technical discussion regarding the design and use of various LFT files, including the core *.fdb Jet (MS Access) database used by Legacy Family Tree, is permitted.

Help with Legacy Finding Duplicates
Dennis, I need to find a way to simply find duplicates that I cannot seem to get Legacy to do. Show me persons with the Exact same date of birth and death date

Then you wouldn't be deleting the Master Source. You'd be unlinking the Assigned Sources for specific individuals. Just read the rest of your original post

Ron, You can already do that in Legacy. In the Master Source List, click on Options and select Delete. If the source is in use, you are given that information
