CTOSummit: A unique event that discusses Open Source related business

Dear Sir/Madam,

What's happening in the Open Source space? Is this growth for real or
is it just another bubble? Are Indian IT firms benefiting from this
phenomenon too? How? Why?

Inspired from the Open Source Business Conference (OSBC), which is an

CTOSummit is one of the events being organised within the Open Source

CTOSummit and OSIW are being organised by the EFY Group--publishers of

LinuxAsia were held only in Delhi, but this year the event has
expanded into three cities: Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.

Few facts related to the business side of Open Source:
· MySQL just got bought by Sun Microsystems for UDS$ 1 Billion.

· Ingres and SugarCRM are expected to go IPO this year, and despite
being open source firms, they are the darling amongst tech investors
and analysts.

· Indian IT giants, like Satyam and TCS, have started releasing open
source projects.

· Many SME-IT firms have witnessed growth of over 100-percent in the
last three to four years, while working in the Linux/Open Source space.
