It's a medium sized group with an elliptical dark central area running
N-S ish and lighter region orienedt more W-E. Lots of detail visible
in the whole thing - little flourishes and such. Yes, I have to brush
up on my solar vocabulary. :)
What's really impressing me now is the lighter ring running all around
the disk that's filled with little small prominences and other busy
bits. Really cool looking and when the seeing settles an amazing
amount of detail. I'm watching a new prominence in the South now
starting to develop - it's really fun watching ow the Sun changes over
the course of a few hours.
