We will be having our first open house and mini solar conference
November 7th, 8th, and 9th.
The event itself is free to the public. We will be getting the word
out to local schools and public forums.
Saturday and Sunday we will be setup with several scopes including
the LS100T and the LS200T. Food and refreshments will be made
available throughout the day.
For those that wish to stay overnight we have rooms available at 2
hotels that are within walking distance of the facility. We also have
plenty of parking for RV's and can provide power.
Friday evening we will be hosting evening events.
We will be offering a trip to the top of Mount Lemmon for a 3-4 hour
visit that will include dinner, beer/wine, and most importantly some
time viewing thru the 24"RC and a few others.
Mt. Lemmon is at about 9,500ft and November skies in Tucson should be
clear and transparant.
There is a fee for this trip and pre-registration is required as we
only have room for 1 bus load. (you will be bussed up and down the
mountain..)
For those that stay in Tucson, we will be having a free night session
with several scopes including the HyperStar systems.
Don't miss the Mexican Fiesta on Saturday evening. Again there is a
small fee for the fiesta to cover food etc.. Space is limited so call
Rikki to get more info if you are interested.
More info to come regarding speakers, imaging seminars etc. as I get
them.
Any questions etc. can be posted to the forum so everyone can
participate. Get the word out. Everyone has permission to relay any
information to other Solar forums...
