Eric and Dave,

What Eric was told by Customer Service was indeed true. The source
code for reduce.p is indeed lying at the bottom of the abyss (along
with autopatcherMK.p). You'll notice by the date on the plugin (os
9.x and windows versions) that it in fact hasn't been built since the
5.x days.
