I`ll start saving my pennies! One more question. Weren`t you saying you need a computer at the scope anyway? Do you mean within range of the basic 25 feet from the router or the supposed 100 feet from the Airport Base station? We also have a Dr Bott aerial but it`s struggling with 50 metres- the idea was to buy a 2nd hand base station as a staging device!

I have a 1st gen iPod touch with 8G memory. Starmap Pro controls my scope via Equinox 6 fine. I don't know if a later version or more memory would speed things up, probably would, but I don't have any problems.
