Yes. If we are talking about using an iPhone or iPod to control your scope,
Equinox 6 is controlling your scope and must be connected to it via a serial
connection or BlueStar. The iPhone app Starmap Pro talks to Equinox 6 over WiFi,
and that can be as far away as your network allows.

I have an AirPort Extreme and I have no problem running my old PowerBook in my
observatory via screen sharing from inside the house, and that is 60m (200
feet).
