I have a "new" SE that came with System 7(.5?) and a CD Rom Drive.
The SE seems to recognize the Drive (I used SCSI DIrector to check).
But it couldn't read the only Mac CD I have. Maybe this CD is not
compatible to older Mac OS...

Does anybody know how to burn a CD that's compatible with OS 7.5 with
a modern mac? (I'm NOT a modern-mac user ;)

Well....you do need to make sure you're not burning in HFS+/Mac OS Extended format as that won't read under 7.6, and that's the default under most things...

Yes! And more so, it is a good idea to burn CD's for the older machines at a slower rate, at least that's what I've found. Some old CD readers couldn't read...
