MRJ 2.2 is the Java Virtual Machine for the Macintosh. MRJ stands for
Macintosh Runtime Java.
All of the version numbers for everything associated with JAVA are very
confusing.
MRJ SDK 2.2 is the Software Development Kit. The names have been changed
from Java Development Kit.
Ostensibly, anything using SDK should be JAVA 1.2 compliant. Sun says that
JAVA 2 is actually JAVA 1.2. However, JAVA 1.3 won't necessarily be called
JAVA 3.
Looking at the docs for MRJ SDK, it appears they are only up to JAVA 1.1.8 so
they may not be complying with the concept that SDK is JAVA 1.2 compliant.
