Has anyone succefully use JBuilder3 on Virtual PC (Win95)
If so, what steps were taken to enable JBuilder3 to run?
I'm currently unable to get beyond the File/New then double clicking
Application button with non appearance of the Project Wizard.
Hope that someone has gone through this path.
Hi,
Many thanks to your useful answer

Hi Janie,
Hope you had a good Christmas.
Thank you for your posting of the ipix postcard, very informative!!!!!!!
I was in New York recently (plu LA and Dallas).I met a immersion imagineer
in Time square. He was using a rig shaped like a small lamp shade a reverse
mirror, and taking one photo of the Neon lights. He was using a Nikon cool
pix. Would you have any idea what such a rig is called or how to buy one.
While in Los Angeles I stayed on 600 west 9th. I think there would be
great scope for a night shot
of downtown near the lagre corporate buildings, but how could you do such a
shot safely at night, in the down town area?
all the best to you and Cow, Phillip, Rabbett,Mike

Hi,
The simplest way to compile and run the Java application on Mac is to
drop the .java file on to the icon of the Java compiler available on the
desktop folder or a java application runner, say JBindery.

Pray your local MacIntosh PDG…
You have to download the Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ) latest from Apple's
site and then install it on your MAC. That gives you the Java runtime (JVM)
to run Java applications/applets.

Greetings!
I'm currently trying to make an Othello game for Mac, but I need help
in the use of the Java AWT libraries.
How do I create a 10x10 grid in Java such that when a user clicks on a
certain "cell," the program returns its location. The grid will
somewhat serve like a checkerboard, like that of the chess board. I
want a simple 10x10 grid with a plain white background and separated by
black lines.
I've tried using Canvases, but I got lost somewhere in the process...
Help???

documentation I can find and nothing helps.
Have you seen this before?
Do you have any clues on what I may be doing wrong?
Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!!

First check in your extension folder to see if the MRJ (Mac Runtime for Java) Libraries folder, which should include a MRJClasses Folder, which (oops) should include JDKClasses.zip, MRJClasses.zip and MRJSDK.zip, is properly installed. If not, here's your problem. Else… well, good luck.

Hello
Does someone here knows about a good but simple IDE (something like
Kawa) for the Mac ? I work with Tex-Edit Plus and the MRJ SDK, but
that's a bit boring...
I have been looking in vain for a Mac java policytool.
I need it to enabable my stand alone application to print the screen,
buttons, graphics and all without getting a secrity exception.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give me some examples of the code
required to open another application from within a Java stand-alone..
I have a need to open Netscape from within the application and am having
trouble with it. I can open Explorer from a PC but Netscape or Explorer
from a Mac is problematic...
Thanks, C. Saucier
