The Adobe PDF driver has plenty of configuration options, even if you
aren'tusing
Distiller. You configure the "Printing Preferences" in the Windows Printer
settings. The size can vary a *lot* depending on your settings. I had to
play
with them quite a bit for book-printing. Anyway, then you just output to
that printer from within UP.

The other PDF tools have options too, but if you already have Adobe you
might as well use it. Distiller can certainly be used too: just set up
the "watched" folders and have a loop that runs until the finished file
appears (IOExist).

Why not using the Distiller ? You can change the Distiller options in a way (Disable prompt for file name) that the PDF file will be created on your Windows...

No, there is no 'special setting' yet to control embedded fonts. As I mentioned before MSE is evaluating it in UP2.0 so we have to wait and see. No idea when...

Hi Prism, The long-awaited Print to PDF option has only a couple of configurable options, compared to many tabs' worth of options in full-fledged PDF drivers....

There are a number of PDF drivers ... they are easy to install and use, andI think some are faster than Adobe. You can get 30-day trials to test them out....
