Hi Luc
It is possible to have the speech work over a Citrix network but as with all
software there is some configuration needed.
Firstly, please check that the Citrix version is Metaframe XP with feature
release 3 or above.
Next, if you have a thick client (PC) at the workstation install Dolphin Sam
and chosen synthesiser(s). If you already have Supernova on the thick
client this will suffice. You now needed to point Supernova on the Citrix
server at Dolphin Sam on the thick client. Please visit the Dolphin web
site at www.yourdolphin.com <http://www.yourdolphin.com/> - Support -
knowledge based articles and search on Citrix and then download q0143.rtf
<http://www.yourdolphin.com/knowledgebase/q0143.rtf> or click the link.
This will clearly describe how to do this.
If you have a thin client which does not run an operating system then an
external synthesiser box will be needed and the knowledge based article
above will run through how to configure a serial port output from the Citrix
server.
It is possible to have a workstation configured to more than one Citrix
server when implementing this we would recommend using a different
synthesiser for each server, which experience has shown avoids confusion.
However, only one Braille display is needed even if the user has multiple
Citrix servers.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [magnifiers] Snova speech on Citrix ICA client
Hi,
Supernova version 9 was installed locally on the desktop (Windows XP).
On that desktop I use a ICA client to reach applications on the Citrix
server.
The magnification is working quite good. Speech doesn't work at all.
Is it possible to get this working without doing installations on the
Citrix server?
Thank you for your adivice!
Kind regards,
Luc
