Featured in the news tonight here in South Australia was footage of a
brave Koala crossing Port Road in Adelaide. Just one of the busiest
thoroughfares in Adelaide - and it survived. Many motorists actually
stopped to let it cross over.

Brought back memories of a few weeks ago when I was travelling to
Adelaide one morning on the South Eastern freeway just a short
distance from the Toll Gate. I almost hit a Koala running across the
three lanes of traffic. It went behind my car and was just missed by
other vehicles behind me. Gave me the fright of my life.

Koalas with a death wish???
