Hi all,
Just returned from a five day round trip from Tweed Heads (far North Coast of NSW) to the Lightning ridge district (NW NSW).
During the trip saw the following mammal species
Antechinus flavipes (x 2) - Bruxner Highway, Mallanganee
Perameles nasuta (x2) (one road kill one alive) - Bruxner Highway
Common Ring-tailed Possum (numerous roadkills) - East of Great dividing range
Rufous Bettong (x 1) (roadkill) - Bruxner Highway
Red-necked Wallaby (~4) (roadkill) - Bruxner Highway
Swamp Wallaby - Lightning Ridge area
Red Kangaroo - Lighning ridge area
Eastern Grey Kangaroo - Lightning ridge area
House mouse
Feral Cat - Moree area & Bruxner Highway (dead)
Fox
Feral Pig - Lightning ridge
