Re: [ GPS Maps ] Latest Garmin GPS?

I would agree with mark and Nick. I have an older 76 with out the SD card. I
have used this unit both on the water and more recently on my ATV where I have
logged over 6K miles of some pretty hostile territory under some very extreme
weather conditions and the 76 is a very solid partner. I would be literally
"Lost" with out my constant companion. I believe that the 60 series has received
more ink, not sure why but in my humble opinion the 76 is one of the best there
is period. My life has been in it's hands on several occasions and is a real
work horse that never complains. Good Luck.

Personally having owned both units I prefer the 76 in the hand, buttons in the
middle of the device rather than at the bottom, and not when using the buttons I
don't cover the screen...

Garmin GPSMAP 76CSx if you need to float when you drop it in the water, Garmin
GPSMAP 60CSx if you want a more friendly-to-the-hand unit - but you drop it in
the water and it does an excellent imitation of a large rock - straight to the
bottom.
