What version of firmware is installed in the unit?



I ask this because our Garmin users forum has had problems with the latest
versions of firmware - when you ask it ot calculate a route, for instance, it
starts, then disappears (shuts off). For now, the fix is to go back one
firmware level to a version that does not have this flaw.



Perhaps try a users forum for the unit hardware, not the maps.
