Since Maple 8 is no longer the current release of Maple, this group has been superceded by maple-new. This group remains here for archival purposes only. Feel free to browse the archives.
This group is to discuss the Maple 8 computer algebra package published by Waterloo Maple Incorporated. Specifically, this group is for discussing bugs, suggestions for improvement, and differences with earlier versions of Maple. This group is NOT for general questions about Maple. It is expected that anyone who posts to this group has access to Maple 8, and has the ability to compare it to some other version of Maple.

Okay, Joe Riel forwarded the invitation to me. You do simply have to reply to that invitation to join. But make sure your reply goes to the Reply-To address,

I sent you a copy of the invite. I clicked on the "join..." button; that took me to the site to sign up for the group. Seemed clear enough to me. Joe

Yahoo must have changed something. Simply responding to the invitation is not enough to join the group anymore. You will need to follow the instructions in
