Everyone,
Below is the email I sent Anthony Miskowski at the Trenton State Museum.
He called to ask if the Mars Society would participate in Super Science
Weekend again. He also asked if we could give a talk this year. As he
will be discussing what talks will be given in two weeks at the NJ
Educational Association meeting I wanted to give him notice that I will
give a talk. I would enjoy having some assistance with the talk even if
it only in fielding questions.
I also would like to staff a display both days. This may or may not
include the robots on the simulate Mars terrain. The dates are January
11 and 12 (Sat and Sun) and I would appreciate your trying to leave some
time on your calendar to help out.
It's been too long since we had a chapter meeting and I would like to
have one either the weekend of Nov the 9th or 16th. Please drop me a
line with which would work best for you. New Mars Society members in
the Philadelphia area please speak up! Location suggestions for the
meeting would also be appreciated. I plan to give an overview of the
work of Project GreenHab to install a greenhouse and waste water
recycling system at the Mars Desert Research Station. The other major
agenda item would be to discuss future chapter activities, including the
Philadelphia Science Fiction Convention in December.
Thanks,
Gary Fisher
