At 3pm EST this afternoon the president will announce his plans to revitalize NASA and send humans back to the moon in the latter half of the next decade, with humans to Mars missions to follow.  This announcement can be viewed on NASA TV or via web cast at http://www.space.com.

 

There is also a public poll on CNN.com relating to the benefits of Mars exploration.  Show your support for Mars and vote!
