Volunteer Opportunity at the 28th Annual Riverfest
SCFG will be part of the Kids Area at the 28th Annual River Festival, sponsored by the Arts Council. We are scheduled to be there from noon to 6.  Any one-hour time slot that you can spare would be greatly appreciated.
It's a great event so if you're in town, do drop by.   (http://www.cambridgeartscouncil.org/community_river.html).
We will engage kids in two "art-ful" activities and teach them some science at the same time.  We will be creating bookmarks using chromatography, and also making kaleidoscopes.  We will have larger mirrors on hand so they can determine the effect of different geometric shapes on the patterns of reflections.
Contact Connie Chow for more informatoin cchow@...
