Governor Evelyn Murphy on September 19. Evelyn Murphy is President
of The WAGE Project, Inc., a national organization to end wage discrimination
against working women, and Resident Scholar in the Women’s Studies Research
Center at Brandeis University, where she has researched and authored a
book on women’s wages entitled Getting
Even: Why Women Don’t Get Paid Like Men and What To Do About It,
published by Simon & Schuster in October 2005.

An Overview of Clinical Research
An Educational Offering from the Biotech
Learning Center at MassBioEd entitled and the Massachusetts Biotechnology
Council (MBC)
This course provides a comprehensive understanding
of the drug development process, from drug discovery to protocol development,
data management to clinical trials. This course also helps professionals
from all related fields understand how their job fits into the dynamics
of a clinical research team.
WHO: Candidates must possess at least a BS/BA,
and can be working in a clinical research setting, within industry or academia,
exploring the course for a career change into clinical research, or looking
to understand the clinical research process in relation to other jobs in
the biopharmaceutical industry.
WHEN: Thursday Evenings, Sept 6 through Dec
