April 1—July 15: Surveys open for enrollment
July 16—August 15: Mentoring Committee reviews surveys and assigns circles
August 16—September 5: Mentoring Circles are informed that they have matched a circle
Week of September 8, 2008: Mentoring Circle Orientation for all participants
Date to be set soon. This meeting is mandatory for participants
Sept, 2008—April, 2009: Circles meet as often as they can/want (at least 1X month)
April 2009—Wrap up event and celebration for all participants

WHAT: An Educational Offering entitled, "Biotechnology Project Management"
This educational program is designed to provide a practical hands-on environment in which to learn the responsibilities, activities, and competencies required for the Project Management position in the Biotechnology environment. This course utilizes experiential teaching techniques, class participation, and real life examples to maximize learning. This course also helps executives, researchers, technicians, and managers in understanding the role of the project manager in the product development arena.
WHO: Candidates must possess at least a BS/BA, and can be working in a clinical research setting, within industry or academia, exploring the course for a career change into clinical research, or looking to understand the clinical research process in relation to other jobs in the biopharmaceutical industry.
WHEN: Wednesday Evenings, May 28 through June 25, 2008, 5:30 to 9:00pm
(The next offering of this course will not take place until September 2008.)
