Hannah Riley Bowles

"How can she ask? Gender and negotiation in the workplace"

Hannah Riley Bowles is an Associate Professor at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research focuses primarily on gender in negotiation and the attainment of leadership positions. She has conducted case research on leadership in crisis and complex multi-party conflicts. She has published in journals, such as the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and the Journal of Behavioral Decision Making. Bowles teaches leadership and negotiation in numerous executive programs. She is the faculty director of Women & Power, the Kennedy School's executive program for women leaders from the public, private and non-profit sectors.
