Something has gone pear shaped on my computer and I can't work out
what. I am no longer able to access my remote web using http. I can
access using ftp both from Frontpage and by using anothet ftp client,
but of course if I try do anything I will break the FrontPage server
extensions. I can also access the site using I.E.and I can access the
site with http using a different PC from a friend's house

If I try to log into the site with http I get an error message saying
that I do not have permission to access this web folder location, but
at no time does the program ask for a user and password.

If I try and publish to the site I get a an error message saying
....
unable to open site - possible causes
1. The server may not have FrontPage server extensions installed - IT
HAS
2. The web server may be temporarily out of service - IT IS NOT
3. If you are connecting through a proxy server the settings ma be
incorrect - I DO NOT USE A PROXY SERVER
4. An error may have occured in the server

This is totally baffling me, an suggestions would be gratefully
received
