I use 110mb.com for all of my free hosting needs. They support PHP and do not
place any ads on your pages... it is completely free. They give good bandwidth
and great control panel tools.

Sheesh, I sound like a commercial.

Hello, I'm not sure about the free services out there. I have my own website with which I have 3Gb of space - I' using less that 1Gb and can't imagine filling...
