Description

This is a forum for active and potential adopters of Matter Interactions, an innovative calculus-based introductory physics curriculum. This forum is not for students taking M&I, and students requesting access will be denied so that we may maintain the integrity of course materials.

THIS GROUP IS NOT FOR STUDENTS TAKING M&I!

WHEN REQUESTING MEMBERSHIP, PLEASE STATE YOUR INSTITUTIONAL AFFILIATION AND WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE CURRENTLY USING M&I.

M&I was developed by Ruth Chabay and Bruce Sherwood, both of North Carolina State University, and colleagues at Carnegie Mellon University. Although M&I has been implemented only in university and community college environments, high school physics teachers are invited to participate in discussions with college faculty about this unique approach to introductory physics. Discussions about VPython, a programming environment that forms an integral component of M&I, are also appropriate for this forum.
