Call for Workshops and Tutorials
--------------------------------

Researchers and practitioners interested in organising a satellite
workshop or tutorial in the context of ECMDA 2009 are invited to
submit proposals on topics related to the conference.
The purpose of the workshops is to provide participants with a forum
for presenting novel ideas, and to discuss them in an open and
interactive atmosphere. Responsibility for the format and organisation
of each workshop rests with the submitters of the workshop proposal.
The ECMDA conference organisers will provide rooms, audio-visual
equipment, and other logistical support. The ECMDA organisers will
offer the possibility of publishing the workshop proceedings in the
CTIT Proceedings Series, with assigned ISBN/ISSN. The workshop
proposals will be selected by the workshop chair, according to the
advice of the ECMDA steering committee.

The purpose of the tutorials is to provide the latest research work
and advances in key areas related to MDA to both academic and
industrial participants. An industrial tutorial should focus on hands-
on experience in various aspects of MDA, including for example,
modelling methodologies, transformation techniques, document and code
generation, test generation and execution. Academic tutorials should
focus on emerging areas of research including motivation, state-of-
the-art, and advanced topics. The ECMDA organisers will provide rooms,
audio-visual equipment, and other logistical support for the
tutorials. Tutorial presenters will receive a minimum reimbursement of
600 Euros for travel and accommodation expenses (per tutorial), and
will share the profits made on the tutorial for an audience above 10
people.
