CONTENT AND TOPICS
Web Engineering addresses systematic, disciplined and quantifiable
approaches towards the cost-effective development and evolution of
high-quality, ubiquitously usable Web-based systems and applications. The
ICWE conference aims at promoting research and scientific excellence on Web
Engineering and at bringing together practitioners, scientists, and
researchers interested in technologies, methodologies, tools, and
techniques used to develop and maintain Web-based applications and to
enable and improve the dissemination and use of Web-related content.
ICWE 2007 will be held in Como, Italy. The conference will feature an
exciting program that in addition to the regular full-papers track will
also host a number of other activities and events, including tutorials,
workshops, tool demonstrations, an industrial track, and a doctoral symposium.

PAPER SUBMISSION
Papers should be formatted according to the LNCS guidelines and can be
submitted as either full papers (up to 15 pages), industry papers (15
pages), demo papers (5 pages), or PhD papers (6 pages).

PUBLICATION OF ACCEPTED WORKS
The conference proceedings will be published as Springer Verlag LNCS (on
paper and on CD). Official proceedings will include: research papers, PhD
papers, industry papers, demo papers, and summaries of tutorials and
workshops. Workshop papers will be published in a unified volume as a
technical report.
ACCOMMODATION AND EARLY REGISTRATION
Since Como is a tourist place and the month of July is already high season,
we urge you to book your accommodation as early as possible. A number of
hotel rooms have been pre-booked and can be reserved using the
accommodation form published on the Conference Web site. Early registration
information will be published on the Web site soon.
