HI all,
Fraser Cain did another virtual star party yesterday. I couldn't
participate because it was clouded out, but another guy, named Gary
Gonella in the Los Angeles area had clear skies. He has a 14 inch
modified S-C telescope that he has gotten down to f2! Yes, f2. He
had a narrowband filter on, and was able to get absolutely stunning
live views of M42, M1, M82, Andromeda galaxy, Horsehead, and others.
I came in about half way through and was reduced to ooohing and
aahing.
