Description

This is a group for people in the area of Melbourne, Australia who are interested in Agile Development methods. Our original focus was on Extreme Programming (hence the name), but our members use a variety of agile techniques on their projects.

The group is generally tilted towards discussion at the fine level of detail that a developer might be interested in, and many of our members are hands-on developers. However, we also cover topics from a management perspective.

Our meetings are held every 4 weeks. They are announced on the mailing list. Topics are decided one meeting in advance, based on suggestions from attendees.

Note that this is *not* a group focussed on the Windows XP operating system (though we use this and other operating systems).

Re: agile meetings?
The MXUG group is a good group which started just this year. This group (MXPEG) has dwindled significantly over the last few months.
