Monthly meetings   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #2886 of 2905 |
For several years now, we've had Yahoo generating messages to remind
us of the monthly MXPEG meetings.

At one time, a meeting would be likely to have 10 or more people, a
presentation closely related to XP, and some discussion. Recently,
attendance has been countable on one hand, presentations are rare, and
discussion has been more general in nature.

I guess that this has something to do with organisers not arranging
interesting presentations / practises at meetings, Agile becoming more
widely used, XP no longer being a new thing, the increase in awareness
of Scrum.

As I think the time may have come for regular meetings to cease, I
have removed the Yahoo calendar entry for meetings.

For those of you who are interested in meeting others working with
Agile methods, you could try the Scrum group (see for instance the
Melbourne Scrum User group: http://scrum.meetup.com/12/ ), or by all
means make use of this list (including its calendar) to organise meetings.

Best,
Murray Bishop
