Thank you very much your replying and advice you have given me. I'm Peter
Ongele . I come from Western Kenya, Suba District, Sindo about 20km from Mbita
point_close to Lake victoria. Occasionally I've interacted with Mr. Samwel
Kongere and Jactone Arija. These people had been instrumental to me during the
post election voilence in Kenya and important advice on the activities a group
of us (Osing Marowa Self Help Group) has been carrying out with objective and
goal of education, promotion ofcommunity health and creat awareness of sexual
behaviour mong the youths. Creation of economic income activities like growing
of tomatoes, vegetables and pawpaw.
The above issues has given me deep value on community health
standard,environmental health and to create awareness on sexual behaviour among
others.
Due to this I have interest to accomplish the my course on community health
and hiv/aids management which would make me intrumental with qualified knowledge
in the near future.
In the moment I still do not have question to put down since I'm still
strungling with my studies but I hope soon I'll be in the forum and I know we'll
exchange,discuss and do alot for this is mandate of each of us.
Otherwise I may just share with you little achievement. So far, we've plots
along the lake, we grow tomatoes, vegetables, pawpaw, and bananas. we have
managed to buy small generator and even buy fertilizers. We have been doing well
and actually most of are funding ourselves for this kind of nature of studies.
Its just due to post voilence which befell us, thats why things have gone down
with me.
Otherwise thank you ones again for your concern over me. I would only
request you to sell me more so that I don't miss to finish this my course since
I still dream high things and to repeat, with this kind of organisation and
communication, achievement of each of us , has to be high.
