WORK IN PROGRESS: The Weird Sisters Project

The Weird Sisters Project is a short adaptation of Shakespeare's timeless tragedy - Macbeth. While using Shakespearian dialogue, the film explores a new avenue of the tragedy by reexamining the portrayal of women and witches in Macbeth from a contemporary standpoint. In addition, the film focuses solely on the three weird sisters and their parts in the play.
The Weird Sisters Project was shot as part of a special project in San Francisco State University's undergraduate program. The film is about 7 minutes long, and was shot on MiniDV. Right now the film is in the final editing stage. Also, the film is being scored by a local Bay Area artist - Ryan J. Potter.
