I am from İstanbul/Turkey. İstanbul is in the northeast of Marmara
Region on the rim of Marmara Sea where Agean Sea and Black Sea meet.
Altough the climate here is Meditteranian, İstanbul is effected by a
local name of Blacksea climate which is similiar to the climate of
the region between the north Spanish coasts to Scotland. There is
plenty of rain here in spring (not as much as winter) but this May.
It has not been raining for a month. There is convectional rain in
nearby cities but I can barely see clouds in the sky. I saw
Altocumulus Floccus a few hours ago which mat be the sign of
thundery showers but the weather report says the sky remains clear
for the coming week. As far as I am concerned this is an extreme
condition, innit?
