Hello folks,
I am a new member here. I hope to meet people who love meteorology
like myself. I was going to go for a BS in meteorology, however had
a few things come up. So that is on the back burner. For now I
contiue my love for weather constantly by reading an awesome book
called The Atmosphere 9th edition by Lutgens and Tarbuck. It's the
introduction to meteorology book they use for college meteorology
students. Has a greater and more indept explaination of the earths
atmosphere's processes, weather and climate. It covers everything
from earths four sphere's and how they're affect by weather. It is a
great book for those of you who want a deeper understanding of the
weather than some books on weather can give. I also take tame to
read the forecast models and sateillite/radar imagery, as well as
upper air plots/surface plots. Gives a good idea of how the
atmosphere is behaving and what it may do over the next 24-72 hours.
Anyway, I look foreward to speaking with you folks
Take care
Jeremy
