The Metrovision-ATV-APRS list was created as a discussion place for Amateur Radio interested in Amateur Television (ATV), APRS & Satellites transmission and reception in Puerto Rico.

ATV, APRS, Satellites, ARRL, ARISS, EME, digital communications: SSTV, PSK31, JT65B and amateur radio communications experimentations HF, VHF, UHF, FD, DX, Contests would be on-topic.

The main purpose of this group is to promote Science, Engineering, Education and Amateur Radio. Our projects includes high altitude "Near Space" unmanned balloons to carry the payloads (MicroSatellites) with experiments to the edge of space and back. We conduct individual remote transmissions thru the Metrovision ATV repeater, live weather images and NASA TV. In addition, to provide support in emergency communications thru the agencies: Centro de Manejos de Emergencias, Civil Defense, etc.
