Hello and Happy New Year !

In March there will be two MetSoc seminars, starting on March 7th with
Andrew Peace and I will be speaking on our "Recent Adventures in
Meteorology". Andrew will provide a brief overview of the Snowy Hydro cloud
seeding program and I will provide a description of the 2008 Olympic sailing
venue.

On March 28th Brian Giles speak on "Before the frontal model: the
development of meteorological charts in the nineteenth century".

So mark these dates in your diary, seminars will start at 6pm in the STL1
bottom floor of the Physics building. Tea and bikkies from 5:30 in the
Physics common room.
