The Ministry of the Environment has just sent
the society a registration brochure for the 2001
State of the environment conference.

Relevant details are
Dates: 5-7 June 2001
Venue: Te Papa, Wellington
Fees: $250 if before May 18, $280 if after May 18.

The aims of the conference are to:
-Understand how to communicate environmental
information to change behaviour.
-Showcase outstanding examples and share ideas.
-Bring together the public and those working for the
environment.
-Raise awareness about the environment.
