The global response to ENSO (El Nino Southern Oscillation)

This talk will cover the global atmospheric response to ENSO events in
the tropical Pacific, and changes in global predictability associated
with ENSO.

Dr Straus is an expert in large scale atmospheric dynamics and
predictability, climate modelling, and the interpretation of climate
model output.

He will be visiting NIWA, Greta Point, from about 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on
the 13th.
