Which is somewhat weird. Given the capsule's resistance is <2,2k, load resistance is also 2,2k We get 2V/4,5k=0,4mA at 2V rails, what about 10V? ... saw 500uA....

I'm thinking you want to keep that current at 500uA, regardless of voltage. vary the outlying R's or use a uL78 series TO92 type regulator for the five volt...
