Hello!
I would like to invite all microscopy enthusiasts to share their experience
and pictures by writing articles for the monthly MicrobeHunter Magazine. If
you have pictures that you like to share, please also send them. Credits
will be given, of course, and the articles and images will not be passed on
to other people.
Please send articles and images to: nospam_editor @ microbehunter . com
(remove the nospam_ and spaces before sending)
All contributions (images and articles) that relate to amateur microscopy
are welcome, both from experienced and inexperienced microscopists! The
following list includes some suggestions (but you are not limited to these
topics):
- microscopy (research) projects you are/were involved in
- how-to articles
- microscopes in education
- book reviews
- observations and pictures
- historical microscopy
- collecting slides and microscopes
- problems you may have encountered
- modifications to microscopes
- DIY articles
- theoretical background
- microscope reviews
- microscope maintenance
- micrography and digital image editing
- applications of microscopes
- articles about microorganisms and other specimens (Biology rather than
microscopy)
- specimen preparation and staining
- microtoming
- safety articles
- experienced failures (this too can be quite educational)
- etc. etc.
I want to release the PDF around the third week of January. I can include
articles that are sent to me by about February 18th - (anything that I
receive much later will be included in the March issue). Authors will
receive a pre-publication PDF of their article to give them an opportunity
for feedback and modifications.
