Minolta Rangefinders
... the first camera in outer space!
Astronaut John Glenn bought and carried a modified (Agfa) Ansco Autoset (Minolta Hi-Matic) into outer space on February 20, 1962, now in the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. USA.
This is the place to connect with other aficionados of the incredible, historical, and still eminently functional Minolta Manual Focus Rangefinder and Viewfinder 35mm film cameras.
Minolta 35, Minolta Memo, Minolta A, A2, A3, Super A, Autowide, V2, V3, 35 II, 35IIB, Minolta Hi-Matic 7, 7s, 9, 11 Circuit 3, C, 5, E, ES, F, FP, CS, G, 7IIs, S, SD, S2, SD2, G2, GF, Minolta Sky, Minolta CL and CLE ... and on, and on!
Images of and through these cameras are welcome and encouraged ~640 x pixels, ~65 kb JPG - the gear itself is fun, but in the end, it's all about the images!
