I've used the S27PX (or equiv.) in my C, with no noticeable
differences in exposure. I've also used the "four-battery" pack,
also without any noticeable difference. Of course, there may be
others who are more critical of exposure than I!

Some time ago (a year or three) I read some "doomcrier" warnings about mangling the electronics in our cameras by using the 4-cell replacement pack in Minox...

I once had photos in the gallery, but any way. The substitute batteries work fine. I shoot E-6 which is very unforgiving as to exposure and as long as i do...
