Finally I've published the photos from my visit to Wiltshire in July.

Not strictly in Wiltshire, Winchester still has a lot of history

Avebury with its huge stone circle
http://www.mjausson.com/2002/wiltshireJul02.htm

West Kennet Long Barrow is connected to Avebury by West Kennet Avenue
http://www.mjausson.com/2002/wiltshireJul03.htm

Stonehenge needs no introduction
http://www.mjausson.com/2002/wiltshireJul04.htm

Salisbury is where Handel had his first English recital
http://www.mjausson.com/2002/wiltshireJul05.htm

A walk in the Marlborough Downs
http://www.mjausson.com/2002/wiltshireJul06.htm

The Romantic garden with many Classical temples in Stourhead

If I would choose a favourite it would definitely be the visit to
West Kennet Long Barrow and the West Kennet Avenue. These are magical
places and much less visited than both Avebury and Stonehenge.
Cheers,
